We had a wonderful visit to my moms. We did everything on my list and then some. Seen all of my friends who mattered up there. We spent Easter morning at my moms, until 12, then drove to my brothers, on the other end of the county. The snow had started when we had left my moms, 30 mins later in the country, it was more than snowing! The kids got to make snow balls, and play in the cold cold stuff for a bit of time. They were in heaven, snow heaven.
The kids got to meet most of there cousins, more than they thought they had. One little boy and Nathan hit it off. His name is Tommy, my cousin Daves oldest son who is 10. Two peas in a pod, I am glad Nathan found someone like himself.
The drive home took longer than the drive up....
That was a long day.
We are all so glad to be home in our own beds.....

I dread the drive!
Well after packing the bags, packing the car, setting up the dvd players, craft and goodie bags, food, pillows, I think I am ready to get on the road. I really wish I could of gotten off work, but at least I get to leave an hour earlier than I planned.
Kids officially started Spring break today. Got to sleep in, in hopes the crabbys will stay behind for our trip.
Another note. My older brother called me lastnight,Randy- 2 yrs older than I. His middle son has enter the army, and will be a Fort Jackson. Asked if I could be a contact for him if needed. And that in May he will be in Columbia for his graduation . It is cool, but kinda of strange, I haven't seen my brother since I was 13-14. Let alone talk much to him over the years, I can count how many times. But when crazy things happen like my dads emergency by pass, you tend to call people. So we have made contact again. I have been told we look alike, can't wait to see.
Have a great Easter, unsure if I will get to post until after I return, depends on moms computer.
Hugs P

It's Thursday...
One more day and the kids and I make a drive to Indiana. I want to go home really bad, but driving with my kids is the most crazy thing any one would want to do. I am sure a 9 hour drive will turn into a 12 hour drive.
My kids will fight, scream, I will scream and it will be midnight before I get there. But, the out come will be good.
I found out a day ago that one of the K-5 teachers aide will be retiring early. I applied again for this job. Oh, I hope I get this job. My life for the summer would be so easy. But I like this job too. Hard to decide, kids yanking on your pants or playing with money all day. Hummm.
